Chynna Dolls Bi Scrunch Back Multi Hologram Bikini!

ChynnaDolls, known for their scrunch back (scrunch-butt) bikinis, sent us this orange-yellow hologram bikini to review. Our logo colors come to life in bikini form ;> Full review here.


The bikini set comes with a top and bottom.

The top is adjustable with the triangles sliding over the center strap.
The fabric breathes well even with the rubbery hologram texture on the one side.

A close up of the tag on the bikini bottom. The half-tone pattern (hologram dots) is securely printed on the fabric. They’re not sequins so they won’t fall or scratch off. Very secure.

The bikini bottom has tie sides, so it’s adjustable as well. The tie sides are in a U shape you’ll see later on at the end of the post. Very unique!

We hit a snag with it during our product shoot though when the the bottom caught on our photography equipment and the stitching came undone ;( Bikinis bottoms and heavy metallic camera stuffs don’t mix, that’s for sure.

A good tip to extend a bikinis wear is to always sit on a towel and to stay away from prickly bushes, tripods :( and cement pool walls and edges.

The top on our sample has a soft fabric lining and padding so it’s much more conservative than the bikinis we usually review, but you can order it without the lining too since it’s optional.

The bikini top’s straps end in a knot. Like we usually say, if you’re into customizing your bikini with those little beads that seem to be all the rage, this bikini is a good one to get. Just untie the knots and customize away.

The top has pockets so you can pull out or leave in the padding.

The fabric is very vibrant. The hologram effect and fabric color gives it a lot of depth. It photographs really well.

Here’s a close up of the scrunch butt side of the bikini bottom. Elastic is what keeps it scrunchy.

The bikini bottom’s tie sides are really different.

Both the front side and the back side of the bottom have vertical “tunnels” through which a strap goes though. The end result is an interesting U shape.

You tie the knot or bow on the sides and you end up with a really distinct looking bottom.
