Now for a short jaunt through Paris Las Vegas, the Flamingo and Planet Hollywood!
Walking away from the Harrah’s. That’s a jumbotron.
One of Elvis’ suits at the Imperial Palace which is right next to the Harrahs.
The stars look like they would hurt if you sit on them.
Slot machines in the background.
A Lion’s face belt.
This is the little outdoor area in the Flamingo.
A Flamingo Fountain!
back to the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas
The facade is incredible.
Planet Hollywood in the background.
The Eiffel Tower
Some ‘Elvi’ (Elvis plural) taking pictures with the Las Vegas sign.
Some police women
The fountain near the Eiffel tower
another look at the Eiffel Tower. If you’re taking pictures with it don’t wait until you’re underneat it to take a picture or it’ll look all distorted.
The bottom of the fountain
wrangling a big fish.
The Ballys Hotel, Ceasars Palace, the Mirage and Trump in the distance.
Paris Las Vegas also has a shuttle to the Rio but we only knew about the Harrahs one.
Paris Las Vegas car guest drop off.
hmm.
Everything looks to scale since it’s visually quite large.
Inside the mall at Planet Hollywood.
It has great theming and like the other malls has the painted ceiling.
There’s a fountain in front of the “V Theater”.
We were looking for the area where it “rains” but couldn’t find it or missed it.
A “Stripper Bar” is coming soon.
That looks like it might be the shuttle to the Rio.
Now going into the building underneath the Eiffel tower…
It’s another shopping center with a painted ceiling.
Quite beautiful.
Like the others it has restaurants and a casino. You can see the slot machines on the lower left corner.
“Manilow Now Playing at the Paris Theater”
Jubilee! banner ad.
Around here there was a small gift shop with mini eiffel towers.
stained glass dome
“Welcome to Bally’s”
The malls connect seamlessly.
From Bally’s you can get on the monorail. Just make sure to have your ticket.
Vegas.com Monorail vinyl wrap.
Riding the monorail. It’s efficient for a few hotels but for others it drops you off way too far away from the strip.
Back at the Venetian
Back to see the Sirens of TI show at the Treasure Island hotel casino.
