Las Vegas – The Venetian

Another incredible Vegas sight to see. Pictures of the Venetian in this post.

The Riviera is home to the “Crazy Girls” – “Las Vegas’ Sexiest Topless Review” and the “Riviera Comedy Club”.
Most of the guests are a little older than those at other hotels and casinos.

Walking toward the popular area of the strip from the Riviera. The Wynn Hotel visible there on the left and the Fashion Show mall in the distance on the right. A lot of construction going on. The walk is long but doable.

The Fashion Show Mall with its interesting facade. Looks like a dirigible landing strip.

The Treasure Island hotel as seen from one of the many pedestrian bridges. Notice the sidewalks and how they are barricaded with walls. You have no other option but to use the bridges which sometimes lead directly into a hotel, casino or mall instead of to the other side of the street :P You can still get there though you just have to walk through to the other side.

Inside a hotel’s shopping center.

The Grand Canal Shoppes ceiling in this one area is spectacular.

Really amazing.

Blue Man Group statues.

In the Venetian shopping center. The shopping centers for several of the malls look similar in that they have the theming  above the stores and the painted sky.

Street Performer at the Venetian shoppes.

The canals.

This looks to be the registration desks at the Venetian.

A limo and the Venetian entrance for guests.

The theming is superb throughout nearly every hotel and casino.

The Treasure Island across the street from the Venetian canals.

Spade. These banners kind of ruin the illusion that you’re in Venice.

Might be better to place the banners near the street side instead of along the building facades.

The buildings are quite large.

There were ads and posters for Rita Rudner everywhere.

The Mirage across the street. A Venetian fountain.

“Resort – Hotel – Casino”

A closeup of the fountain.
